Psychological counselling and therapy in Hamburg
Over 20 years of experience with children and teenagers
For more than 20 years, the City of Hamburg has relied on our therapeutic and educational programmes. We support children and teenagers with autism spectrum disorders (ASD), ADHD and social behavioural difficulties, individually, holistically and with a wealth of experience.
We stand by families when depressive episodes, eating disorders or traumatic experiences take their toll. Our focus is on mental health during the school years and puberty, especially where conflicts, school refusal or other challenges arise.
If our approach is not sufficient, we will find a suitable solution together. We do not treat children under the age of three, but we are happy to recommend appropriate specialist services. Our psychological services are paid for privately. We are glad to advise you on your options.

What is Kaiserufer?
Kaiserufer is a practice for mental health in Hamburg-Rotherbaum. People in every situation in life are warmly welcome here, whether for psychotherapy under the German Heilpraktiker Act (HPG), psychological support or creative therapy. We bring different disciplines together under one roof: psychology, body therapy and body- and movement-oriented approaches interconnect and are tailored individually to you and your concerns.
Who is Kaiserufer for?
Our practice is open to everyone: adults, teenagers and children. Many of our guests come to us as self-paying clients because they want therapy without long waiting times and without bureaucratic hurdles. Whether you are in an acute crisis, would like support through a career change or simply feel it is time for something to change, you are in the right place with us.

As a self-pay practice, we offer you decisive advantages: Immediate appointments without months of waiting. Free choice of therapist: you decide who you work with. Full discretion: no diagnosis in your medical records. Maximum flexibility: we adapt appointment times, therapy duration and methods to your needs.
How much does a session at Kaiserufer cost?
Our prices are transparent and fair. The introductory session is free (approx. 45 minutes), and the Psycho-Quickie costs €70 per session. With the Flossenpass from €299 you can combine therapy and Body & Soul flexibly. You will find all prices on our prices page.
Will my health insurance cover the costs?
Our psychological services and psychotherapy (HPG) are self-pay services. Private health insurers and supplementary insurance policies often reimburse part of the costs. Please feel free to get in touch, we are happy to help you clarify this.
What happens at the first appointment?
Your first visit to Kaiserufer is a no-obligation introduction. We take time to listen to you, understand your concerns and work out together which path is right for you. There is no pressure and no commitment. You can arrange an appointment by phone or email.
